Sturges Park Buffalo, MN, United StatesThe Buffalo Community Orchestra is beyond excited to be back together with plans for a live performance (weather permitting). Join us at Sturges park for an evening of live music including works from Strauss, Sousa, Sibelius and many more. We are sure there will be music for all to enjoy. We look forward to you joining us for an evening of great music and fun in the park as we help kick off the 2021 Buffalo Days celebration!
In the event the June 13th concert is cancelled due to weather, the concert will take place June 15th at 7pm.
Beethoven and Friends
Buffalo High School Performing Arts Center 877 Bison Blvd, Buffalo, MN, United StatesBCO kicks off its 27th season celebrating the 251st birthday (covid may have disrupted his 250th celebration with the BCO) of Ludwig Van Beethoven, one of the most loved and performed composers in western civilization. Beethoven left an undeniable and invaluable mark on classical music. Beethoven, a “musical influencer” of the late 18th and early 19th century, laid the groundwork for many composers that followed.
Join us as we perform Beethoven’s 5th Symphony as well as music of composers that were influenced by Beethoven’s work.

Scandinavian Postcards

Scandinavia is located in Northern Europe and consists of five countries: Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Iceland. Each of the individual Scandinavian countries is unique in their heritage, folklore, language and music. Picture beautiful fjords and rugged mountains as BCO travels through the music of composers from Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland.

Join us for a unique program that highlights the many talented musicians of the Buffalo Community Orchestra, including music from Copland, Mozart, Bizet, Beethoven and more! BCO is especially excited to welcome BCO soloists Mike Jeannot and Emily Scicchitano to the stage.
Concert in the Park with BCO 2022

Enjoy highlights from the year as well as some patriotic favorites. Bring a chair or blanket and join in the fun in an outdoor setting on the shores of Buffalo Lake. This concert is free of charge.
BCO at the Movies

Join us for an evening of music from past and present cinema favorites. The concert will open with Raiders March from Indiana Jones and the Raiders of the Lost Ark. This piece was written by John Williams, arguably the king of cinema music scores. From there we will experience music from movie classics such as Lord of the Rings, Dances with Wolves, and a few Disney favorites!
