Buffalo Community Orchestra kicks off their 30th anniversary season by “rewinding.” Join us as BCO looks back at the last 30 years to create a program filled with pieces holding sentimental and historical significance, as well as pieces that were member and audience favorites over the years!

Experience the magical sounds of the season with well-known holiday favorites with a little theatrical twist. You will hear Christmas classics, all that have been included in Christmas movies, as well as favorites from Home Alone and How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

Kick off the holiday season with family, friends and the Buffalo Community Orchestra as it presents its annual and audience favorite, Holiday for Orchestra-with Ringers & Singers. Experience the magical sounds of the season with well-known holiday favorites and a few surprises!

Join us for a fun and exciting afternoon of music that brings us home! BCO opens the concert with the entire Peer Gynt Suite. This piece tells the story of Peer Gynt, a Norwegian folk hero, through the music composed by Edvard Grieg for Henrik Ibsen’s play Peer Gynt. This story tells of the downfall and subsequent redemption of a Norwegian peasant anti-hero.

BCO is excited to feature 2 of our very own! Maestro David Carrillo on violin and Andrew Burgdorf on cello will join forces on the 3rd movement from the Double Concert in A minor by Johannes Brahms. Previously having performed the first and second movements, Dr. Burgdorf is excited to complete perform this final movement of one of his favorite pieces of classical music.
