Join us as with celebrate America with two iconic and moving pieces. BCO opens with Copland’s famous Lincoln Portrait, a narrated piece that provides a historical at famous folksongs and several of Lincoln’s famous speeches, including the Gettysburg address. The concert closes with Ellis Island: The Dream of America, a multi-media experience that follows the story of seven immigrants from seven different countries as they traveled to the United States, told through music, narration and historic images.

Buffalo Community Orchestra’s purpose is to make music, educate instrumentalists, connect with our community, and provide recreational and performance opportunities to area residents.

The Buffalo Community Orchestra is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and overseen by a volunteer board of directors. We are able to present outstanding concerts and engage guest artists and musicians through ticket sales, grants, and financial contributions from individuals and businesses.

She studied privately from middle school through high school with Shelby Dems and Edgar Tumajyan, a violinist of Symphoria. BCO’s 26th Season is underway…sort of!
